One of the main reasons is that the all-inclusive, ready-made lift concept is incredibly space-efficient and easy to install, requiring only minimal building alterations. In fact, it is possible to install a 2-stop Cibes Primo platform lift in as little as 2-3 days.
Explanatory note: The Cibes Primo is the same product as the Cibes A5000, but has an updated design and is available in more lift sizes. The updated design was created to cater to the needs of the US market. The Cibes Primo replaces the Cibes A5000.

You do not even need to build an elevator hoistway, as the Cibes Primo always comes with a prefabricated lift shaft in steel or glazed panels.

Although the Cibes Primo is always delivered with a prefabricated elevator shaft, it is just as easy to install it in an existing or site-built shaftway. This is an elegant solution that makes your lift blend in seamlessly into its architectural surroundings.
In addition, this is a lift model that offers you a wide choice of lift colors, door models, flooring options and other features, enabling you to create a lift design true to your vision.
Public settings
Public buildings need to be accessible to all citizens, but for people using wheelchairs, walkers or crutches, navigating between different floors is often challenging. Because our platform lifts have almost no structural impact, they are much easier to integrate into existing buildings than conventional elevators.

Lift interior
The Cibes Primo operates with hold-to-run operation inside the lift. You just maintain pressure on the floor button to travel and release it to stop.
This lift model has a rated load of 880 lbs and can take 4-5 passengers. Because it is a platform lift, regulations require it to travel at a reduced speed of max 30 FPM.
However, reduced speed also comes with advantages. Whereas high-speed elevators need big and bulky shaft structures to absorb the speed-generated forces, the Cibes Primo only needs our space-saving, ready-made shaft.

Easy to install
Installing the Cibes Primo platform lift is a lot easier than you might think. Because the lift is delivered in ready-made elements, it can be installed within 2-3 days. In addition, the drive unit and machinery are so compact that they fit inside the shaft. That means that there is no need for a separate machine room, top machinery or a deep pit, which reduces your building costs.

The standard sizes of the Cibes Primo platform lift, 39 ³/₈ x 57 ³/₄” or 43 ⁵/₁₆ x 57 ³/₄”, are big enough for passengers using wheelchairs and walkers.
We also offer a great selection of different accessibility options, such as concealed automatic door openers, extra large call buttons, lap-held IR controls and more.
Cibes Primo - The perfect school lift

Screw-driven lifts
The mechanics of a screw-driven lift are extremely reliable and robust. To put it in simple words, the platform is attached to a drive nut moving up and down the lifting screw, powered by an electric motor.

If you do not have enough space to install a lift inside, the Cibes outdoor lift may be a solution. The outdoor lift is equipped to endure most weather conditions and can be installed almost anywhere on the outside of your building, or against your terrace.
