A Future-Ready Cibes Air in Fort Wayne
Installed in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this two-stop Cibes Air marked an important milestone: the first Cibes Air installed in the state and the first completed by our partner, Premier Elevator & Lift. What began as a temporary mobility challenge became a long-term investment in comfort, independence, and future planning.
A Vision That Looked Ahead
The homeowner experienced an injury that temporarily limited her mobility, making stairs more difficult to navigate.
Rather than treating the lift as a short-term solution, she moved forward with something she had always envisioned for her home. The timing simply accelerated the plan.
Her goal was clear: A lift that felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully integrated into her space.
Designed to Feel Like Part of the Home
The finished installation reflects that vision with subtle contrast and clean lines:
- A standard white shaft and doors for a bright architectural presence
- A black rear platform panel for depth and balance
- Automatic glass doors for effortless entry
- Integrated LED lighting throughout the shaft and platform
In several photos, the illuminated platform highlights how seamlessly the lift integrates into the home’s design. It enhances the space rather than competing with it.
Adapting on Site
As with many real-world installations, adjustments were required along the way.
The original order included a small pit. During installation, the team determined a ramp would better suit the space. Minor modifications were made on site to accommodate the change, resulting in a smooth transition without compromising performance or aesthetics.
For Premier Elevator & Lift, this project marked their first Cibes Air installation and a successful one.
The Result
Today, the lift provides convenient movement between two levels while supporting long-term ease of living.
The homeowner was grateful for how naturally the system fit into her home, both visually and functionally.
What started as a temporary challenge became a future-ready upgrade designed for years to come.
