A Design-Integrated Symmetry Asterix Elevator in Miami

Designed Into the Home From the Start
Including an elevator during the early stages of construction allows it to become part of the home’s architecture rather than an addition made later.
For this new-build residence in Miami, the Symmetry Asterix elevator was planned alongside the staircase to create a natural vertical circulation path between floors. Positioning the elevator beside the stairs helps maintain a balanced layout while supporting convenient everyday movement throughout the home.
Because the elevator was incorporated during the design phase, it integrates cleanly within the hoistway and aligns with the overall planning of the interior space.
A Coordinated Asterix Interior Package
The Symmetry Asterix package was selected to provide a refined and cohesive elevator interior that complements the surrounding living environment.
Key features of this installation include:
- Recessed ceiling lighting with black trim ring
- Coordinated Asterix handrail
- Matching car operating panel
- Matching hall call stations
- Rear wall mirror to enhance brightness within the cab
Together, these elements create a clean and contemporary elevator interior designed to integrate naturally within a modern residential setting.
The elevator interior also features walnut wall panels with a clear coat stain, adding warmth and contrast to the lighting and fixture package.
Supporting Movement Between Levels
Serving two stops within the residence, the elevator provides convenient access between floors while maintaining alignment with the home’s circulation plan.
Planning the elevator as part of new construction allows homeowners to incorporate accessibility and convenience from the beginning rather than adapting the home later.
This approach helps ensure the elevator feels like a natural extension of the home’s layout.
A Future-Ready Residential Solution
Installing a residential elevator during new construction allows homeowners to plan ahead while enhancing comfort and usability from day one.
With coordinated interior fixtures and recessed ceiling lighting, the Symmetry Asterix package offers a thoughtful balance between architectural integration and everyday functionality.
