Thanks to the compact, ready-made design it is easy to integrate Cibes A5000 platform lift into existing buildings. Because the lift is delivered in ready-made elements, requiring neither a deep lift pit, nor top machinery, the construction work is minimal.
You do not even need to build an elevator hoistway, as the Cibes A5000 always comes with a prefabricated lift shaft in steel or glazed panels.

Lift interior
The Cibes A5000 operates with hold-to-run operation inside the elevator. You just maintain pressure on the floor button to travel and release it to stop.
This elevator model has a rated load of 880 lbs and can take 4-5 passengers. Because it is a platform elevator, regulations require it to travel at a reduced speed of max 30 FPM.
However, reduced speed also comes with advantages. Whereas high-speed elevators need big and bulky shaft structures to absorb the speed-generated forces, the Cibes A5000 only needs our space-saving, ready-made shaft.

Easy to install
Installing the Cibes A5000 platform lift is a lot easier than you might think. Because the vertical elevator is delivered in ready-made elements, it can be assembled within 2-3 days. In addition, the drive unit and machinery are so compact that they fit inside the shaft. That means that there is no need for a separate machine room, top machinery or a deep pit, which reduces your building costs.

Wheelchair-friendly elevator
The standard sizes of the Cibes A5000 platform elevator, 39.37″ × 57.76″ or 43.31″ × 57.76″ are big enough for passengers using wheelchairs, walkers and strollers. The largest platform size, 39.37″ × 77.56″, is even large enough for most mobility scooters.
We also offer a great selection of different accessibility options, such as concealed automatic door openers, extra large call buttons, lap-held IR controls and more.
Cibes A5000 - The perfect school elevator
The hold-to-operation makes the Cibes A5000 platform elevator very safe to use, even for small kids. In addition, the platform is equipped with safety edges and an emergency stop button, that bring the lift to an instant halt, as soon as they are activated.

Traveling on an open platform inside a fully glazed shaft is a unique experience, offering you a 360-degree view of your surroundings, without any sensation of confinement. Full glazing is also great for safety, given that passengers inside the elevator are visible at all times.

Screw-driven lifts
The mechanics of a screw-driven elevator are extremely reliable and robust. To put it simply, the platform is attached to a drive nut moving up and down the lifting screw, powered by an electric motor.
Environmental product declaration (EPD)
The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and provides a standard way of declaring product impact according to a global, standardized system. The Cibes A5000 platform lift has an EPD so that you can compare its environmental impact to the lifts of other manufacturers.
